The Ascom d63 Protector features enterprise-grade telephony with wideband audio, professional messaging, Bluetooth, on-site positioning and personal alarm all in one very capable DECT handset.
Besides excellent telephony, its advanced messaging capabilities make it ideal for interacting with colleagues and even automated equipment. The Ascom d63 is available in a number of license dependent functionality models – from a robust handset for telephony only (Talker) to one that also supports with professional messaging (Messenger) and to an advanced model that includes personal alarm capabilities and infra-red location (Protector)
All Ascom DECT handsets are supplied with a battery, but unless you have an existing desktop or drop-in multi-charger you will need to purchase the Ascom Desktop Charger for d43, d61 and d63

The Ascom d63 is designed to integrate and work seamlessly with third-party systems*. This is made possible by Ascom’s Unite middleware, which enables two-way texting and interactive messaging directly on the handset. Ascom Unite can also be configured to filter, sorts and prioritises alerts — then ensures they are displayed on the Ascom d63’s bright, easy-to-read colour screen.
Personal alarms
The Ascom d63 Protector is more than a telephony and messaging handset. It also features an alarm button that can be used/configured to trigger duress calls. DECT location functionality means colleagues are notified of the handset’s location — making the Ascom d63 particularly suitable for lone workers. Infrared location enables room level accuracy.
