Easily call, message and share photos with family and friends thanks to widely separated, high contrast keys and a large, 2.8’’ screen. The easy to use 3MP camera is great for taking and sharing photos, and there is an assistance button featuring support for Response by Doro™ with GPS positioning. Other features include HAC (Hearing Aid Compatibility) as well as shortcut keys for the camera, favourite contacts and messages.
Like other Doro phones with a flip/clamshell design, the 6040 is easy and practical to use. It keeps things simple giving you what you need without all the extras you don’t. It has been designed with mature people in mind, it makes technology accessible with genuinely helpful features. The flip design is robust and has the extra benefit of protecting the main display.
Easy to Use
The Doro 6040 comes with a UK mains plug and a docking station to charge the device. Thanks to the desktop charging cradle you will always know where your Doro 6040 is and that it has charge. The cradle is perfect for anyone with limited hand mobility or those who are partially sighted, as you won’t need to insert the micro USB connector into the port on the side of your mobile phone to charge it anymore.
A physical numerical keyboard with large buttons makes the 6040 easy-to-navigate, with loud clear sound and an assistance button for when you need to quickly contact someone in an emergency.
The 6040 has a 2.8-inch full-colour QVGA display with large fonts, which make it easy to read. It is also possible to easily adjust the size of the font on the screen to your requirements.
Sound is loud and clear with Hearing Aid compatibility (T4/M4), so you can always enjoy a conversation.
Peace of Mind
An assistance button on the back of the 6040 can be programmed to make a call or text to a selection of pre-set number(s) when held down. This can be used in the event of a fall or other emergency if the phone is in reach.
The Doro 6040 is compatible with Response by Doro, offering an easy-to-service to provide seniors with greater security and freedom. When the assistance button is pressed it will initial try contacting a designated relative. If they are not available the call is automatically sent to one of Doro’s alarm centres where there are staff available 24/7. Response by Doro requires a paid subscription.
