Cisco GLC-LH-SMD SFP Module
The Cisco GLC-LH-SM fully complies with the IEEE 802.3z 1000BaseLX standard. However, their higher optical quality allows them to reach 10 km over single-mode fiber (SMF) versus the 5 km specified in the standard.
Cisco SFP-10G-LR-S SFP Module
The Cisco 10GBASE-LR module supports a link length of 10 kilometers on standard Single-Mode Fiber (SMF) (G.652). SFP-10G-LR-S does not support FCoE.
Cisco SFP-10G-SR SFP Module
The Cisco 10GBASE-SR Module supports a link length of 26m on standard Fibre Distributed Data Interface (FDDI)-grade Multimode Fibre (MMF). Using 2000MHz*km MMF (OM3), up to 300m link lengths are possible. Using 4700MHz*km MMF (OM4), up to 400m link lengths are possible.
